The room includes rehearsal cubes, folding chairs, and a table. Natural light from large windows. Secure keypad entry to the building and suite. The space has sound dampening but is not soundproofed and is not suitable for band or instrument rehearsals.

Book online for any combination of hours and days. You’ll receive a confirmation by email. Access details are sent once your booking is confirmed.

good to know

We’re a working theatre company and occasionally need the space ourselves. Block dates are posted in advance. All sales are final once payment is made and your dates are booked. If you need to cancel, we are happy to reschedule your hours to another available day.

Can I book multiple days at once?

Yes. Our booking system lets you select any combination of hours across multiple days and check out in a single transaction.

Is there parking nearby?

Ravenswood Avenue has permitted parking Monday through Friday, roughly 8am to 3pm — check posted signs before you park. Street parking is also available on surrounding streets. The space is a short walk from the Ravenswood Metra station.

Can I bring my own equipment?

Yes. The room is yours for the duration of your booking. You’re welcome to bring lights, camera gear, sound equipment, or props. Please note: do not place tape or tape anything to the floor under any circumstances. It pulls up the paint and a $200 charge will apply for floor damage.

What is the cancellation policy?

All sales are final once payment is made and your dates are booked. If you need to cancel, we are happy to reschedule your hours to another available day.

Is the space accessible?

The building has a freight elevator, though it can be difficult to access. Please contact us at info@threecrowstheatre.com before booking if you have specific accessibility needs and we will do our best to assist.

Do you offer discounts for recurring bookings?

Yes. Book one month or more in advance and receive 10% off your rental. Reach out to info@threecrowstheatre.com to arrange it.

access

Dial 204 on the entry system and you will be buzzed in. Go up the stairs directly in front of the doors and take a left into the hallway. Three Crows’ suite is on the left with a placard on the door. There is a lockbox on the door — the code will be sent to you after your booking is confirmed.

Do not attempt to access the space earlier than 15–20 minutes before your rental period begins. Door access will not be granted until that time. If you need additional setup time, please rent extra hours.

Do not prop the common door open and leave it unattended.

the floor

DO NOT TAPE THE FLOOR. DO NOT TAPE ANYTHING TO THE FLOOR. NO TAPE ON THE FLOOR. It pulls up the paint. A $200 charge will apply if you damage the floor with tape.

climate control

The AC is a window unit. On very hot days, access 30 minutes before your rental to cool the space down will be granted. Make sure the AC is off before you leave.

The heat can be quite loud. You may turn it off via the labeled light switch above the kitchenette. Turn it back on at the end of your rental. The thermostat is on a timer — use only the arrows to adjust if absolutely necessary.

before you leave

Please make sure that: lights are off · AC is off · heat switch is back on · windows are closed · key is returned to the lockbox · door is locked. Take the garbage/recycling out if you filled the can or threw away food items. The receptacle is in the alley via the back stairs near the bathroom and elevator.

amenities

The space includes six rehearsal cubes, three 6’ tables, and six folding chairs. There is a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and electric kettle. WiFi is available — the password is on the cork board on the back of the door. The bathroom is across the hallway; the key is attached to a license plate on the cork board.

building etiquette

Please watch your volume in the shared hallways. Keep the rehearsal room door closed to minimize noise for neighbors. The studio next door keeps chairs and items in the hallway — please do not bring them into the Three Crows suite or move them.

no smoking

The suite and the entire building are non-smoking. A $250 charge will apply if you smoke in the space.

enforcement

Should you break these rules, Three Crows Theatre reserves the right to remove your access to the space without a refund.
